Assessment & Exams

Each candidate is required to produce evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

This qualification will be assessed based on the evidence you submit in your personal portfolio.

At the beginning of the course, the candidate will be assigned an occupationally competent assessor who will assist the candidate with gathering the evidence required and help them complete the qualification.

Primarily, the candidate will communicate with your assessor remotely by telephone or email, but it is likely they will also attend your workplace once or twice to help with gathering evidence.

The evidence will include observation report by the assessor, assignments/projects/reports, professional discussion, witness testimony, worksheets, record of oral and written questioning.

You will be then required to submit a ‘Portfolio of Evidence’ showing how you have met the performance and knowledge criteria for each unit required within the qualification, as directed by your assessor.
