Course Information
This is a work-based learning qualification that enables individuals to carry out the supervising of lifts in the Construction working environment.
Entry Requirements
The Level 4 NVQ in Controlling Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts is suitable for anyone who is already employed in a role in crane lifting operations. It is often taken by those working as lift supervisors or crane supervisors. There are no formal entry requirements to take this qualification. This qualification can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.

Assessment & Exams
When you start your NVQ, an assessor will be assigned to support you through the process. Most communication will be done remotely via phone or email, though they may also visit you on-site to help collect evidence for your qualification. Once all required documentation is gathered, you'll submit your portfolio for internal verification. After review, you will either be deemed "competent" and awarded the qualification or "not yet competent
