This qualification is aimed at those who have responsibility for managing Construction sites including the planning and controlling all aspects of specific works on site.

There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification. However, centres must ensure that learners have the potential and opportunity to gain the qualification successfully.

The course consists of -
Identifying and enabling learning opportunities for given work teams
Establishing, controlling and monitoring environmental factors and sustainability
Ensuring that work activities and resources meet project work requirement
Organising, controlling and monitoring supplies of materials

This qualification is assessed through completion of a learner portfolio of evidence which is assessed and internally quality assured by the Centre.
The portfolio of evidence will include learner evidence that demonstrates knowledge, understanding and application of teaching practices (which can involve observational evidence).
