The NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling has been designed for highly experienced Wall and Floor Tiling Tradespeople in the construction industry.

This qualification gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your advanced tiling skills, knowledge, expertise and competence without attending to any formal classrooms or workshops settings.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however, associated extensive experience in wall/floor tiling within the construction sector is essential to achieving this qualification.

Information, quantities and communicating with others
Building methods and construction technology
Provide drainage for tiled surfaces
Produce internal and external sand and cement backgrounds
Produce tiles, mosaic and stone surface finishes
Prepare the background and tile out a wet room (Practical Synoptic Assignment)

Evidence of performance and knowledge is required. Evidence of performance should be demonstrated by activities and outcomes, and should be generated in the workplace only, unless indicated under potential sources of evidence. Evidence of knowledge can be demonstrated though performance or by responding to questions.
